Students

Riverview School participates in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).  Our motto is “Working Together to build strong minds, kind hearts, and good character.”   As a staff, we explicitly teach and reinforce 3 school wide expectations for positive behavior.

Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe.

Students are recognized for their good behavior through the Student of the Month recognition program and by earning individual and group incentives and rewards throughout the year.  We use the expectations to frame our conversations regarding behavior at school and encourage parents to refer to these same expectations and use them at home.
